A night or two ago on the news, I saw a story that I thought was interesting.
It was just a quick blurb and if you stepped away to the kitchen, you would have missed it.
Basically what it said was that: Tuition and fees at public four-year public colleges rose $344, or 6.3 percent, to an average of $5,836 for the 2006-07 academic year.
I looked up the article on line (click here to read the whole article) and it did give good news, especially to half of college bound kids who attend community colleges first: tuition and fees rose just 4.1 percent to $2,272.
Interesting. Did anyone else see the sotry?
